Adding a Speedster to the lineup is the kiss of death. The 997 is on the way out! Expect an ever lower drag coefficient, more water cooled goodness and an even shorter 0-60. The 2010 Turbo S did it in 2.8 seconds with the PDK.
Can you get much better and still be a 911? I've read that they're quickly maxing out the technowizardry necessary to maintaining any degree of cornering and grip with the larger and heavier rear engine layout. Can something mid-engined still be a 911? Can something not powered by a flat 6 cylinder engine still be a 911?
HAHAHAHAHAHA. So true.
